Announcement about upcoming foreign affairs activities

On August 31, 2011, MOFA’s Spokesperson Nguyen Phuong Nga announces:

1. At the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam Nguyen Thien Nhan, from 5th to 9th September 2011, State Councillor of  the People’s Republic of China Dai Bingguo will pay a visit to Viet Nam. Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan and State Councillor Dai Bingguo will co-chair the fifth meeting of the Guiding Committee for Viet Nam – China Bilateral Cooperation.

2. At the invitation of Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Singapore K. Shanmugam will pay an official visit to Viet Nam from 8th to 10th September 2011. This is the first visit by Mr. Shanmugam to Viet Nam as Foreign Minister of Singapore.
