MOFA Spokesman

Viet Nam is concerned about the current situation in the Gaza Strip of Palestine
01-24-2008, 12:39 pm

In response to question by Prensa Latina correspondent (Cuba) concerning Vietnam’s comment on the situation in the Gaza Strip, the Spokesman of Vietnam’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated:

Viet Nam is concerned about the current situation in the Gaza Strip of Palestine and requests Israel to put an end to its economic embargo and military activities that seriously affect the local people.

We call on parties concerned to exercise restraint and effort to promote the peace process in the Middle East in order to find a fundamental and long-term solution to this problem.
