On July
25, 2008, in response to the questions by correspondents concerning to the news
that on July 21, 2008, The Nepalese Constituent Assembly had elected the first
President of Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, the Spokesman of Ministry of
Foreign Affairs Le Dung stated:
Vietnam
would like to congratulate the Nepalese people on the election of a new
President and hopes that the new government of Nepal will soon be established to
lead the Nepalese people in national construction and development, actively
contributing to peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and
the world at large.
