The 7th annual conference of the Council for Promotion of Tourism in Asia (CPTA) opened in Hanoi on October 5 to seek ways to develop the regional tourism network. The conference saw the participation of member representatives from Hanoi, Bangkok, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo, New Delhi, Jakarta and Seoul.

During the six-day event, delegates will review regional cooperation in tourism development over the last year and reach agreement on new tourism projects. They will also discuss marketing strategies in order to attract tourists to Asian cities, including Hanoi.
